Your breath is mine,
My heartbeat yours.
Mintues, months, seconds.
For time immemorial we'll be,
And forever,
And forever we'll lie,
Our hearts entwined,
Lovers under the starlit sky.

The two emotions I've currently portrayed, depression and love, are one of the best possible combinations for a pair of emotions; they are on opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, but losing everyone one loves is often cause for depression, and love is often a great healer of sadness.
In this particular image, there's also a fair bit of symbolism. Stallion is palomino, mare is pale grey with gold mane and tail - halves of a whole. The stallion's eyes a blue, a stereotypical colour for a Prince Charming, and the mare's are purple, a less-typical yet still beautiful colour. If you look closely, there's actually a heart-shape in the air between them, formed by the curve of the stallion's nose, chest and foreleg, and a series of glowing orbs.
The image itself is set in a waterfall scene, which is typically romantic, but more sheltered than a beach would be.
That's most of the analysis for now.
The poem has a story, too. Was talking to Sam, and I'd wanted to use Chiodos lyrics. He disagreed, told me if I was going for 'true love', which I was, that they didn't fit. And then Will agreed with him, so I relented. And settled on something. Then the next day had the bright idea of writing a poem instead, which I did.
And of course, an image on love couldn't go without a dedication; the person who was my muse throughout this. Will, I love you.
