Edit:
Widescreen [16:10] wallpaper: here.

There's something in your soul
That won't be denied
It's the faith to dream that keeps
The dream alive
So you still believe
And you know
you must go

Where the dream takes you
( Where your dream takes your heart )
Where your heart longs to be
( Your dream will lead you on )
There's a worl that waits for you
You're not alone
You'll find your home
Where the dream takes you

Where the Dream Takes You;; Mya

My first photomanip with my new tablet. My verdict: I am so incredibly proud of this. XD. That horse.. I am in love with the dodge and burn tools now =)

So yes. Quite, quite proud. If you would like to use it as a background, download for 1024 x 628. If you have a different resolution, note me and I'll fix one up for you

This is now one of my two entries for :iconwrenstormbringer:'s Equine Dreams contest. ^_^

Enjoy!

I saw this a while ago and used it as my wallpaper! lol xD

Then, I couldn't remember the name of it, so I typed in part of the song....and found it again!

It's beautiful piece, by the way

Honestly, I just kinda used the burn tool for all of it. Start at midtones, then go to shadows. Keep the strength probably between about 15 - 30%, and use a medium-largish tool. Try not to leave it looking 'lumpy', with patches darker than others, but I found it hard to avoid, so smudge it over without overkilling on the smudging.
Probably need to adjust the saturation a bit, using the sponge tool or hue/saturation.
Oh and use the dodge tool for the white markings. Same sorta thing.
It was hardly highly technical [or even the generally recommended method :3], and I think that was the last time I really did it... Two years ago, now >.>

Excellent integration of the horse. Your lighting matches superbly. Usually that's where photo manipulation fail. Very good compositing!
